St. Matthews Anglican Church on Reems Creek

There was just a major renovation on this church in Weaverville in the Reems Creek Community. Phase 1 is almost finished and it is looking really good. Notice the Parsonage to the left.

Parish Potluck Dinner following Church, Sunday, December 28
Sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall.

The renovation of the Church moves ahead. I believe all the painting and repair of the exterior will be done by this Sunday. The exterior of the Church is looking wonderful. We are receiving another gift of five thousand dollars for the building fund/renovation work. So that brings us to a total of thirty thousand dollars towards the forty thousand dollar challenge gift. Ten thousand more and we will make that goal and have enough funds to complete phase II & III of the renovation.

See you this Sunday and Christmas at St. Matthew's.
Fr. John
